Itinerary: 6 Days Marrakech to Tangier via Sahara Desert & Chefchaouen
DIA 1: MARRAKECH – MONTANHAS ALTAS DO ATLAS – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE
Set off early in the morning at 8.30 from your riad to begin your 6 Days Marrakech to Tangier via Sahara Desert & Chefchaouen. You will bear left toward Kasbah Telouet after passing the Tichka Pass at the highest point of the High Atlas Mountains. This Kasbah, which was made up of three principal structures, belonged to the Glaoui family, the Lords of the Atlas. All of the building’s additions, which were constructed at various points throughout time, are now in ruins. There are two sections that are too risky to access because of how much the wind and rain have damaged them. You’ll meet nomads if you travel by the 4×4 in their caves and enjoy a drink of tea with them before heading to Dades Gorge for lunch via an off-road path. After lunch, you have some free time in the Dades Valley to unwind or take a tour around the gardens and fields. You check into a Kasbah for the overnight.
DAY 3: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA – CAMEL TREKKING – NIGHT IN THE CAMP

Following the camel ride, you will head toward Fez, passing through a number of real Berber villages (Erfoud, Errachidia, etc.). We will then continue through the Atlas through Tizi N Talghomt, the Middle Atlas’ highest pass, and arrive at the cedar forest, where you will make a stop to see the renowned native monkeys that live there. You will go to Ifrane, the stunning Moroccan Switzerland, after lunch, and reach Fes in the afternoon. transfer to your riad/ hotel in Fes.
DAY 5: FES – GUIDED TOUR OF FES – CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast, check out of the hotel or riad and go explore Fes. Fes has a rich cultural heritage. With its vintage appeal, the medina in Fes is one of the biggest car-free zones on earth. A UNESCO World Heritage site, as well. Fes has a lot to offer and a lot of fascinating sites to explore. See the University and Mosque at Karaouine. This university is thought to be the oldest in the world still in existence! Non-Muslims are not permitted inside the mosque, although there is a decent view from the entrance. Other visits could include the Marinid Tombs, the Ibn Danan Synagogue, and the expansive views of Fes, depending on the time of day. The Blue City, Chefchouen, is the next stop after touring Fes.
