Itinerario: 5 giorni di lusso nel deserto del Sahara da Marrakech

Giorno 01: Marrakech – Monti dell'Atlante – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

We will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Marrakech at 08:30 to start our 5 days and 4 nights luxury trip to the Merzouga desert from Marrakech. We will head to Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas through the Tizi N-tichka pass (2.260m altitude) where we will make several panoramic stops to take amazing pictures. Continuing along the road, we will turn off on a small road where we will take the opportunity to contemplate spectacular landscapes of great chromatic diversity, where we can rest and take pictures. We will arrive to the village of Telouat where we will visit its Kasbah and have lunch in a typical restaurant of the place.

In the afternoon, we will continue our journey through numerous Berber villages, where we can observe how their families live in authentic adobe houses lost in the mountains. This track will take us to the fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its famous Kasbah (The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting have been filmed several famous movies such as Gladiator, Obelix, Sahara with Penelope Cruz ….

After this visit we will head to our charming riad in Ouarzazate, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 02: Ouarzazate – Valle del Draa – Alnif – Pista Dakar – Pernottamento a Ouzina

Il secondo giorno del nostro tour di lusso nel deserto di Merzouga di 5 giorni da Marrakech inizia con una ricca colazione al riad. Ci dirigeremo verso la Valle del Draa attraverso una strada tortuosa che accompagna il fiume Draa, uno dei fiumi più lunghi del Marocco, durante il suo percorso. Lungo il tragitto possiamo vedere come il paesaggio cambia, da terre aride e desolate a palmeti e campi che si estendono per chilometri.

Faremo diverse soste per contemplare i villaggi berberi autentici e le affascinanti kasbah di adobe che punteggiano il percorso. Meravigliose costruzioni fatte di paglia, fango e acqua che si affacciano sul palmeto.

Dopo pranzo ad Alnif, continueremo il nostro viaggio verso Tafraoute, dove inizieremo il nostro percorso attraverso il famoso circuito dell'ex Rally Dakar, un viaggio in cui godremo di viste mozzafiato del deserto più puro e autentico, il deserto di Ouzina, un deserto che offre la più assoluta pace tra i deserti del Marocco e l'autenticità del suo popolo.

Il sentiero che collega Taouz con Ouzina ci mostra come, in questo Grande Sud del Marocco, il paesaggio sia così vario e incredibilmente bello, passando dalla sua aridità alla vegetazione più verde e alle bellissime dune arancioni che contrastano con le montagne nere che caratterizzano la zona di Ouzina.

Già a Ouzina ci dirigeremo verso il nostro alloggio. Un affascinante lodge berbero tipico dove ceneremo e passeremo la notte.

Giorno 03: Ouzina – Proseguiamo lungo il tracciato della Dakar – Il ritorno delle dune – Giro in cammello e accampamento notturno berbero a Merzouga.

Prestissimo al mattino, dopo una rinfrescante colazione berbera appena preparata in questo affascinante lodge, iniziamo la nostra giornata dirigendoci verso Merzouga. Una giornata piena di avventure attraversando tutti i tipi di terreni, villaggi berberi tipici, dune, piste 4x4, letti di fiumi asciutti, hamada, oasis….

Inizieremo ad attraversare la vecchia pista del Rally Dakar in 4×4. Una volta arrivati a Merzouga, ci muoveremo intorno alle dune e visiteremo gli insediamenti nomadi locali nell'area dell'Erg Chebbi, mentre berremo tè con loro impareremo alcune delle loro tradizioni, usanze e modi di vita.

Per pranzo ci dirigeremo verso il villaggio di Khamlia, tra Merzouga e Taouz. Nella zona è conosciuto come “Il villaggio dei neri”.

In the afternoon, we will head to the lodge to get on the back of our camels and head to the Berber camp in the middle of the dunes. In this magical ride of about an hour, we will enjoy an unforgettable sunset in the desert of Merzouga, where you will photograph the most magical landscapes. It is the most desired moment of our 5 days excursion to the desert of Merzouga from Marrakech. Already in the camp, we will relax with a welcome mint tea and then an unforgettable magical evening awaits us, where we will dine by candlelight typical local products, and after it, we will have the opportunity to play the drums to the rhythms of the Sahara desert, a show of live Berber music by the campfire. We will rest in our Berber tents under a blanket of stars until sunrise.

Giorno 04: Merzouga – Deserto di Merzouga – Gole del Todra – Dades.

Dopo una notte indimenticabile nelle nostre haimas, di prima mattina, se ti alzi abbastanza presto, sarai in grado di ammirare un'altra affascinante cartolina del nostro tour nel deserto di Merzouga di 5 giorni da Marrakech, l'imponente immagine dell'alba nel Sahara e l'alba tra le dune.

Dopo questa magica esperienza nel deserto, torneremo sui nostri cammelli per rientrare al lodge. Avremo tempo per fare una doccia e per una rinfrescante colazione berbera.

Prenderemo la direzione del villaggio di Rissani, antica Sijilmassa, centro di rifornimento delle antiche carovane provenienti dal Sahara.

Rissani is one of the most emblematic places in the desert area of Merzouga, its market was one of the most active during the caravan routes. It is also spectacular to see the famous donkey parking on market days. Continuing the journey through a semi-desert landscape, we will reach the oasis of Tinghir, possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. Going up the river Todra, about twenty-five kilometers north of the city of Tinghir, we will arrive at the impressive Todra Gorges. These natural constructions of more than 300m high, are recognized worldwide for being one of the most spectacular rocky canyons. The road leading to the gorges offers beautiful scenery and a beautiful view of the majestic palm grove.

Dopo la visita a queste scogliere e al suo villaggio, prenderemo la famosa Strada delle Mille Kasbah, per raggiungere le Gole del Fiume Dades, dove nel tempo il fiume ha eroso le rocce formando un incredibile paesaggio di grande bellezza naturale.

La sera ci dirigeremo al nostro incantevole alloggio a Dades, dove ceneremo e passeremo la notte.

Giorno 05: Dades – Valle delle Rose – Marrakech

Quest'ultimo giorno della nostra escursione di 5 giorni nel deserto di Merzouga e Ouzina da Marrakech inizia dopo una ricca colazione presso il nostro alloggio. Torneremo a Marrakech attraverso la Valle delle Rose.

Less than 50 km from Skoura we find Kelaa M’gouna, a fortified village famous for its rose water distillery. This is the Valley of Roses, located at the foot of the High Atlas and formed by hectares of rose bushes whose aroma is appreciated throughout the month of May. Flowering lasts from mid-April to mid-May. The cultivation of roses, the distillation of essences and the production of perfumes are the most important industries of this place. It is well known for its Rose Festival, which takes place every year in May.

We will drive to the palm grove of Skoura, a vast and lush palm grove that consists of more than 700,000 palm trees. The impressive greenery contrasts with the arid plateau that makes up the lower valley of the Oued Dades and the large concentration of kasbahs and authentic adobe villages that are scattered throughout the Oasis of Skoura, an authentic place of great beauty where you will be transported to other times and where time seems to stand still.

After a few photo stops along the way, we will continue to the port of Tizi N’ Tichka and stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the mountains.

Visiteremo anche una cooperativa di olio di argan, dove scopriremo il processo di produzione dell'olio di argan e le donne che lavorano l'argan ci spiegheranno i molti benefici che questo prodotto ha per il corpo.

Continueremo il percorso fino a raggiungere Marrakech e in città godremo di una serata libera per fare una passeggiata nella piazza Jamaa el Fna e prendere un tè o cenare nelle tipiche bancarelle che affollano la piazza.
